This Privacy Policy explains how Shop Mauve collects, uses, shares and protects your personal data when you visit www.shopmauve.in (the "Site"), shop with us, visit our store, or contact us. By using the Site or giving us your personal data, you agree to this policy.

Shop Mauve is operated by Shop Mauve Private Limited, with its registered address at 8th Floor, A-14A, Fortuna Icon Hostel, Road Number 1, Indraprastha Industrial Area, Kota, Rajasthan 324005 ("Shop Mauve", "we", "us", "our").

1. PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT

• Contact and order details: your name, email address, phone number, and billing and shipping address.
• Payment information: your payment method and transaction details. Card, UPI and bank details are processed securely by our payment partners. We do not store your full card details.
• Order history: the products you buy, returns, exchanges and gift cards.
• Communications: messages, photos and videos you send us by email, WhatsApp, Instagram or phone (for example, for a return or damage claim), and records of calls with us, including automated calls.
• Device and usage data: your IP address, browser, device type, pages and products viewed, and how you use the Site, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
• Reviews and content: reviews, ratings and photos you choose to share with us.

2. WHY WE USE YOUR PERSONAL DATA

• To process, confirm, ship and deliver your orders, and send order and tracking updates by email, SMS, WhatsApp or phone
• To confirm cash on delivery (COD) orders, including through automated or AI-assisted calls and WhatsApp messages
• To handle returns, exchanges, gift cards and customer support
• To prevent fraud and misuse of our return policy, and to keep the Site secure
• To improve our products, Site and services
• To send you offers, new launches and reminders (for example, about items left in your cart) by email, SMS or WhatsApp, only where you have agreed. You can opt out at any time.
• To show you relevant ads on other platforms, such as Instagram and Facebook
• To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations

We only collect the personal data we need for these purposes.

3. CONSENT

We process your personal data based on your consent (for example, when you place an order, subscribe to updates or accept cookies) and for legitimate uses allowed by law, such as completing a purchase you asked for or meeting legal obligations.

• Analytics and advertising partners (such as Meta), to understand how the Site is used and show you relevant ads
• Government or legal authorities, where required by law or to protect our rights

5. WHERE YOUR DATA IS STORED

Some of our service providers, including Shopify, may store or process your data on servers outside India. We only work with providers that protect personal data with appropriate safeguards, and we follow any restrictions on cross-border transfers under Indian law.

6. HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR DATA

We keep your personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes in this policy, or as required by law (for example, tax and accounting records). When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
